Shulman Campaign on the Bailout Bill

Here's the statement from the campaign of Dennis Shulman:

"This debate and crisis are the direct result of George Bush and Scott Garrett consistently battling against all efforts to reasonably regulate greedy special interests, especially the corrupt predatory lenders like Countrywide Financial that fund Garrett's campaigns and run his congressional office. For Garrett to attempt to duck responsibility for the mess he created while taxpayers pay Countrywide Financial's former lobbyist to run his office is disgraceful, and that's why 5th District voters must and will fire Scott Garrett.

Dennis Shulman guarantees that his office, unlike corrupt politician Scott Garrett's, will be run on behalf of NJ taxpayers and not the special interests, and painfully flawed bills like this will never again be required. For Bush's loyal foot soldier to inveigh against the Bush Administration from the floor of Congress the day before Bush's former mega-lobbyist White House counsel comes in to raise tens of thousands of dollars of scandal-tinged money for him gives the word "hypocrisy" a bad name."

Dennis Schulman is another corrupt democrat. I am tired of democrats running New Jersey and RINO republicans. I will leave this district if Schulman is elected. We need fewer democrats not more. The republican establishment in New Jersey is also a bunch of liberal losers like Christine Todd Whitman. Scott Garrett is one of the few honest politicians and the best politician this state has. Shulman will lose, guaranteed. The democrats are at fault for this financial meltdown, why don't you campaign against them?

Well first of all the democrats are not at all responsible for the financial meltdown. If you truly believe that you don't understand economics, it isn't an accident that at the end of clinton's presidency we had a surplus and after 8 years of republican rule and GW Bush that we are 10 trillion dollars in debt. But thats not the point. Even though I'm going to vote for Dennis I don't think he can win with the kind of campaign that he is running. You are not going to beat Garrett in a district like this by just constantly attacking him. While I agree he needs to be agressive with Garrett he needs to stand for something. Thus far he hasn't stood for anything on real issues and hasn't come out and said anything in regards to what his plans will be when he gets to congress he justs continues to attack Garrett and say nothing about himself. I don't believe that in a district as Republican as this that a Democrat can win without the necessary swing voters in independents and liberal Republicans, both of these categories are going to be impossible to win without standing for something...Matt I'd like your opinion on this if you would.

As to that last comment and shulman being a "corrupt" democrat...that is absolute nonsense he has never been involved in politics in his life before this and is a Rabbi and Psychologist, it is truly pathetic you would slander an innocent person and Rabbi no less with that kind of garbage.

It was the democrats like Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Gregory Meeks, and Charles Rangel who said that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were just fine and when the republicans wanted to reign in these organizations the democrats refused. Franklin Raines, former CEO of Fannie Mae, was a crook. How come Raines is not dragged before Congress? The democrats have ruined Bergen County, starting with the indicted Joseph Ferraro. Look what the corrupt democrats have done for Essex and Hudson County, two of the most corrupt counties in the nation. New Jersey will be the next state asking for a federal government bailout. The liberal republicans are just as bad as the democrats in this state. Shulman is like all democrats and liberal republicans that want the government to control every part of our lives. I want less government, not more. Does Shulman support this bailout?

Shulman is a clown, just like the rest of the democrat party. The subprime loans started during the Clinton administration. Democrats have destroyed Bergen County. Nice work Joseph Ferrairo, you low-life. DOW 2000 with the socialist Obama as President. New Jersey is filled with losers.

Your right NJ is filled with losers...such as yourself and your impaired political beliefs. Subprime Loans did start during the clinton administration...and you know what party was in charge of Congress??? Thats right the Republicans. Secondly, you think Obama is a socialist? REALLY? how blind are you? grow up and read a book about obama or politics in general because you clearly know nothing about either.
